Of the cowboy-type guns, I would say this one would probably be my favorite type and caliber. I like the fact that since it's in stainless it has lots of eye appeal, with the added bonus that it is much more wear and handling rust-resistant. This is more than a little important to someone with very caustic, sweaty, hands, like me. Another feature is it's somewhat 'unauthentic' .357 Magnum caliber. I know the originals were primarily .45 Colt, with a few others, mixed in. What I like most about this particular one is that common (and relatively inexpensive, even today) .38 Specials can be run in it, most of the time, with the full Magnums as the upgun option, and compatible with .38/.357 lever rifles, as well.

Rossi Puma 38/357 Lever Gun
This would be the rifle I'd probably pair it up with. Relatively inexpensive, but should be a good shooter, nonetheless. Another one would be the Marlin 464.
