Edge Arms Reliant pistol...Whoa! Talk about a strange-lookin' bird! The new Reliant pistol from Edge Arms is a unique design that combines the compactness of a break-open, derringer-type handgun with four-barrel firepower. The handgun fires as fast as you can pull the double-action trigger with a safe internal hammer, and the pistol is available in calibers ranging from .32 ACP to .380 ACP and .38 Special. It also has a built-in, under-barrel, grip-activated laser, and the grip has a storage compartment for extra ammo. For more information, visit www.edgearms.com or call 615-989-7694. I didn't fully understand the revolutionary aspects of this design when posting it the previous Christmas eve/2014. Read up on it a bit more, after-the-fact. Since it operates more like a shotgun than a revolver or auto, nothing externally has to move for it to fire. In other words, it can be fired while inside a pocket or even if a grab attempt is in progress and the grabber has gotten his hands on the barrel. I wish Gaston Glock would tear himself away from his girlfriend for about 5 minutes and read THIS part: Safety Edge Arms is focused on safety – your personal safety and the safety of the weapons themselves. We build unique and patented (or patent-pending) safety features into our firearms where possible that reduce or eliminate the possibility of accidental discharge. George Kellgren of Kel-Tec might want to read this: Production Capability Edge Arms products are manufactured in a large 31,000 sq. ft. facility with capacity to expand as needed. This allows us to scale our production to meet demand to fulfill orders in a timely manner. Finally, .45 auto rim and this design just seem to be made for each other. All the advantages of the venerable ACP, with no need for moon clips: ammoseek.com/ammo/45-auto-rimThere is a 30-second survey on their home page www.edgearms.com I filled out about future models/calibers, and their Facebook page is www.facebook.com/edgearms
