The Penn state constitution written in 1791 at the same time with our founding father's.. And it says this--"The right of the citizens to bear arms, in defense of themselves and the State, shall not be questioned." ------ NO MILITIA MENTIONED. See www.tnonline.com/.../sep/29/right-bear-arms-god-given.. To all those that believe in the national guard, BS you are debunked! The people that wrote that, where among the founding fathers!! Enjoy!!!

Page not found. Seriously I have heard that argument. The way I understood it is the "militia" were the citizens. That's not to say we should go out looking for trouble, but that we have a right to defend ourselves when we do face trouble.

The ammenment in the 1790 draft is under article-9 section-21.. [ Sec. 21. That the right of citizens to bear arms, in defence of themselves and the State, shall not be questioned] QUOTED.. The PA Constitution has been rewritten but hardly no change in the gun right section.. Hers' another link www.duq.edu/academics/schools/law/pa-constitution/texts-of-the-constitution/1790
