They always have a weekly special and a monthly giveaway: www.galleryofguns.com/gallery/WeeklySpecials.aspxThe only thing about the website that I don't like is that on the safety section they say to leave the gun unloaded when not in use. Excuse me but a criminal isn't going to wait.

No, GACA does NOT recommend that anyone store or carry around an unloaded gun, unless required by range rules or some other common sense criteria. When in doubt follow this maxim: If an unexpected (violently directed) shot rang out or a 'wolf' appeared with a weapon, would I be able to present my (loaded) gun immediately to counter or stop the threat'? If the answer is no, you're wrong.

I might add-keep a spare magazine, loaded and ready to go if you should need it. I keep mine near my weapon.

Here, my wife and I have a large Amt. That I inherited. We only keep our personal Handguns loaded and deployable 24/7. In the wife's Case, a Ruger SP101 Stainless 357, with 38+P's loaded( Remington Golden Sabers), and 2 addl. Speedloaders with Black Hills 357 flat nosed, plus 5 Spare 357 Golden Sabers on a single speed strip. Mine is a Ruger LC9 w/Laser Lyte mounted to the frame on the right side, and I have 8 Mags. Total-5 7 rd. And 3-9rd. All always loaded,.. We do keep other items nearby and the Ammo to run them, locked in Safes and Ammo storage lockers,.. We also keep a semi auto 22 and a shotgun in the SUV,...
Edit: Davidsons has to post stuff like that to avoid law suits. I like that I can order stuff through them and get it at my local FFL,..but some of the Other places online( CDNN, for one) almost never have any of the Guns in stock that the advertise in their "Flyer," just accessories( they are great for Magazines though!). I live less then an hr. Away from Davidsons, and J&G Sales,..as well as the GUNSITE Ranch and School, and the Ruger "West" facility...
