Personally im a 92 pattern/1911/& Ruger SR/ LC/ Mini fanboy, but was lucky to inherit most of my Dad's and Uncles Guns. That being said I wouldn't call myself a Collector, but I learned that "the blue book" is your friend. My wife and I are doing our first competition together this Summer( Rimfire steel challenge). It's her first ever, and my first since 1999...
oh,..the Avatar. My wife and I are "owned" by an 88 Lb. Pile of mushy wrinkles Named GATOR, because be swims like one, and wips his head around like one when he's startled. Not just ANY Old Bulldog, he's An OLDE ENGLISH BULLDOG(ge). He's very social to the tune of 353 Facebook Friends. He is also an abandoned Rescue. Someone left him to die in the Desert in Maricopa Cty., and he had to fight off a predator to survive until he was "Rescued" by an animal control officer. Next week he will be with me 2 years. Recently he became certified as my "Emotional Support Therapy" Dog,..
The S/N: after active duty Army service, I became a Football Coach/scout/ Writer for most of the next 30 years, until last June when I decided that after all these years, I had had just about Enough of Football. I still do 2 shows a week, one out of an Internet station in Ohio, and one for a radio station here in Az.
