SPECIAL REPORT
Saw a documentary the other day called 'America's Doomsday Plan' and the news is not good for We, the People, folks. The reason is that they openly state in it that they expect a nuclear attack, soon. Not the kind we normally think of, either, ala Soviet ICBMs striking land, as in Cold War days. What they envision is a nuke set off in the earth's atmosphere, above our continent, concentrated over the east coast, but running all the way to the west by at least several hundred miles. This causes an electromagnetic pulse to surge down onto the land mass, knocking out the power grid and anything else dependent on electricity such as cars, homes, businesses, computers, etc. Chaos ensues, and rioters and looters take over the streets. The film said they expect approximately 3/4 of us to DIE in just the first few months.
Two very critical things happen, due to the lack of electricity. One, no more sewage treatment and garbage disposal is possible, because the pumps are no longer working and trucks/crews are immobilized. Second, the 60+ nuclear reactors go off the grid, and onto back-up generators. When the fuel for those runs dry, the core starts to melt and once that starts there's no way to reverse it.
Hospitals and any other facilities are in the same quandary. Since they all depend on electricity to keep the lights on and pumps working the same troubles hamper them as us, at home. You can imagine what ensues as sick people can't get medical attention and die, their bodies left to rot (and spread further disease via rodent and insect hosts) in the streets, just as we saw during the war, in Europe and Asia.
Where is the 'booberment' when the citizens are dying like proverbial flies on the surface of the planet, you may wonder? Well, that guy in DC has FOUR 747 'doomsday' models he can jump in, to escape the chaos on land. They are set up to resist the EM pulse I referenced in the first paragraph, and so should be still flyable, because they're also equipped with older analog flight controls as backup systems. President Bush used one of these on 9/11 to fly out to Nebraska, and stayed airborne (they are mid-flight refuelable by KC-135 tanker) for that day, while the situation played out on the ground, and then stabilized.
What if the situation just keeps getting worse, 'downstairs'? Well, they've got that covered, too, thanks to the kind 'contributions' of We, the People. There are several multi-billion dollar facilities (that they've been forthcoming enough to TELL us about, in the film-who knows how many, really?) where they can go underground, while the area above 'melts' with nuclear radiation spewing everywhere. They have hospitals, dining halls, 6,000,000+ gallons of underground water, sewage treatment, food enough to last for YEARS, a crematoria, etc. In other words, everything you and I will LACK, above their 'privileged' heads.
So, that's what we have to look 'forward' to, for the future. We get the government we 'ask' for, you say? 'Hardly', I laugh. We get the government that 'they' give us, and that doesn't mind that there are no plans to save the populace, just as long as their own necks are SAFE from the 'nuclear noose'!
